FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depends on the scope of the project. Hourly, fixed price or time plus commission.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet in person and really get to know my potential client so I can understand their needs. However, this isn't always possible since I work with clients from all over! So the next best thing is Skype/FaceTime meetings and phone calls. It's also super important for me to understand their overall goals for the way they want their space to feel. Having room dimensions is also a very important step so that I may understand the space. From there, we discuss style, likes and dislikes, if there are any family heirlooms or special pieces that the client would like to incorporate into the design and set up a shared bulletin board so that we may exchange ideas, virtually.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
George Mason University, Business and Communication New York Institute for Art and Design, Interior Design Boston University, Photography
