FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am willing to work with everyone's budget within a certain price range, of course. As a new instructor on the market, my priority is sharing the love of yoga and helping transform people before anything.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, I don't jump into what i think is right. It doesn't matter how long they have been practicing yoga for. What matters is their goals and capabilities. Before even starting a typical yoga practice, I have a consultation with my customer to determine their needs, their capabilities, and mainly what they want to get out of the practice. I than put together a specialized sequence of postures and work with the customer. i am very patient and do not push my clients beyond their own capabilities. If I see they are struggling with a certain posture, I have them stop and have them work on that posture before they move onto the next one. Yoga is all about gradually achieving self bliss. It is important to work from the bottom up. You cannot achieve something more advanced if you do not work gradually towards preparing the body for something more advanced. I use this theory on my clients all the time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certification through Faith Hunter's Embrace your flow yoga program. I have my 200 hour RYT certification and am associated with the yoga Alliance. I have worked with so many different types of clients that it is easy for me to understand the different needs and abilities of everyone I deal with. I have worked with obese individuals, young children, friends of my own age, older women, and even males. I was able to acclimate to each of these individuals.
