Hi, I am Indre and I have a great and useful time learning Norwegian with Yngvil. I highly recommend her for learning Norwegian via Skype. Lessons with this teacher are very well structured and easy to follow focusing on the things you want to learn. Yngvil is patient and thorough and has a positive attitude towards teaching. Lessons with her are productive and enjoyable.

Yngvil was a musician for hire for me, playing my compositions. She was prepared, on time, and played beautifully on keyboards and whistle.

Yngvil is a great teacher. She taught me jazz and Norwegian, and I still profit by the many skills taught to me. She is well organized, very personable, and made learning enjoyable. I always felt she paid attention to what I wanted to learn as well as to what I needed. If I were not too busy with college I would still take lessons. Highly recommended!

Yngvil was a great fit for me. I wanted a less-structured approach do she integrated theory, practice, philosophy and play into each lesson. Every lesson felt fresh. Sometimes, after an especially inspiring lessons, I'd stay up late into the evening trying to play, trying to incorporate everything I've learned that day. Sometimes I'd stay up until the wee hours, which was the problem if it was a work night. Recommending them to anyone who wants to take a new approach to learning an instrument at any age. I'm in my 50's and my lessons were often my favorite part of the week
