Introduction: I throw amazing parties because I love it. I do not think of this as a job but rather a passion. It is my creative outlet. I also own a lot more equipment than DJs in my price range. This allows me to exceed the expectations of my clients because they are used to having to pay additional charges that come standard at my base price. Our equipment utilizes new technology, including digitally controlled LED lighting and live digital music mixing. And it looks and sounds absolutely fantastic during the event! I think the best part of my job is when the guests show up to my client's party and their eyes pop out of their heads. They start dancing like crazy and the show just keeps getting more and more exciting. I love it when my clients come to the realization that they have just become the "coolest kid in the neighborhood" to all their friends.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I continue to take dance classes from time to time to make sure I am comfortable in showing guests basic steps. I go to as many events as I can as a guest to get ideas for my own shows. Every Monday evening the Red Carpet DJs get together to practice and share ideas and inspirations.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I have been interested in music and throwing parties since I was a child. In college I volunteered to produce a music and variety show at our University's station. I continued to practice mixing through law school. Throwing parties became a hobby on the weekends and friends suggested that I should do this professionally.
