"This by far has been my best experience with a personal training team. Chris and his team not only challenged and developed my physique but they completely altered my perspective on exercising. The most impressive thing about Chris is his dedication to Engine1Fitness. Every week, I would go into this gym, there was new equipment. He's packed out the gym so much that they are building a new facility. He invests all of his time, energy and resources into this business. He has a pride and passion for the business that spills onto his team and clients. I had the luxury of working with several different trainers for which I've written a synopsis below.
Chris, the Owner, is incredibly knowledgeable about all thing fitness and nutrition, He is extremely well read and always educating himself on all things in his field. With all of his clients, he still made the time to check in on me if I missed a session, or if he heard I wasn't my "usual" self. His passion is truly inspiring.
Christian aka Cardio Christian, will push your body to levels you've never dreamed of reaching. Christian puts Billy Blanks to shame with his hyper-intense cardio sessions. I often laid in a pool of sweat before I could even leave. It's intimidating, but you'll be proud (and surprised) that you made it through.
Jason is absolutely great for targeted muscle building. I no longer can wear my pants because my thighs and hamstrings have grown so much. I used to be extremely intimidated by weight-lifting because I didn't do it in high-school. Jason made me comfortable with heavy lifting. He has a great sense of humor and engaging attitude.
I only worked with Andrew a few times but he is great for toning - HIGH reps and moderate weight. I enjoyed working out with him. He would often do some of the ab workout with us to encourage us at the end of a workout.
I travel across the country for work. Unfortunately, my extended assignment in Birmingham has come to an end so I have to move on. I now have a positive view of exercising and I have incorporated it into my daily routine- especially while I'm on the road and away from home each week."
