I was more than pleased with the vocal lessons that I received from my instructor, Krista Wendle. Before I even began my lessons, I talked to her by phone and got good "vibes" and answers to my questions. First, let me say that I am in my late 60's, and have never had voice instruction. Because I play and sing in a 60's type folk group, I wanted to raise the quality of my voice by as much as I could to add more to my bandmates. Although I was a bit apprehensive on that first lesson, that anxiety soon dissipated as we got into the exercises and instruction. Later Krista allowed and encouraged me to bring my guitar and material with which I am familiar. It was not just a series of scales and random exercises. Also she provided me a warm-up vocal exercise CD which I play before every performance and practice session. Krista was always prepared for my arrival, and gave me her undistracted attention for my full 45 minutes, (Previously I had a negative experience with an independent guitar instructor, not affiliated with Taylor Made, who took and made phone calls, had conversations with family members, and even tried to sell me musical material I didn't want. I felt very short-changed and only got about 40-45 minutes out of a lesson for which i had paid for one hour. I ended the lessons soon after I began) Krista is a true performing professional and really knows her business. For anyone who wants a patient, courteous and gifted vocal instructor, I highly recommend Ms. Wendle. She is TOPS!

I am very pleased. My son loves playing his clarinet. It has been a great joy to see what all he has learned and accomplished in almost a year.

James Brooks, Lead Keyboard Player, was hired to play and organize a music band, for a Local Red Carpet / Black Tie Awards Show in August 2014. This event was held at the renowned Porter Sanford Performing Arts Auditorium, a 4 hour event, where over 300 people were in attendance. Our organization was extremely impressed with James Brooks’ professionalism, timely arrival and the ability to skillfully play in co-ordination with the entire event. During the closing of the event, the audience gave him and the band a grand round of applause. We were so delighted with James Brooks’ performance ability that we have already booked him for our 2015 event this summer.

She was perfect. A future star. She sent me a long list of what she could play. It had dozens of hits from many a genre. I chose 20 something and she played them beautifully. This was a party for my wife who just beat breast cancer. Dave & Marilee Cade

Camille was able to keep my 7 year olds attention. After practice my daughter was excited and reported that she has found her talent. Camille took her time and was nice.

I'm a very good guitarist. I've played for 5 years, but I learned a lot and wrote down in notes some ways to shortcut learning. I teach bass guitar and music theory. Just call me for pricing; my rates are pretty cheap and fair with $5 to $40 per hour, depending on location.

About

It doesn't matter if you are an aspiring shredder, beginner, or just want to play for fun, a good teacher can help you reach any goal you desire. All lessons are based on each student's individual needs. I like to teach what I consider musicianship; musicianship consists of music theory, technique, and passion. Theory teaches you the understanding of how chords, scales, melody, and harmony work, while technique gives you the physical ability to take the music in your creative mind and apply it to your instrument. You could be a musical genius but if you don't have the physical capability to unlock it, no one will ever know. Passion, well it can't really be taught; you must have a desire to do this. What I can help you with is how to appreciate music for what it is. So what are you waiting for? Schedule your lesson today! Beginner to advanced guitar lessons and beginner bass guitar lessons are available.
