Preferred Chefs aims to create delicious memories for our clients. When a client books with us, we work with the client to develop the best menu based off the clients preferences. Once a menu is chosen our chef will handle the shopping, cooking, serving and leave the kitchen clean as if we was never there. The only thing our chef will ask of the client is to enjoy the quality time with family and friends.

I want to start off by saying me and my wife had an excellent experience. I wanted to plan something special for my wife’s birthday so i decided to hire a personal chef. It was my first time hiring a personal chef and i was pretty nervous. After scheduling Matt and contacting him he was able to answer all the questions i had. He super polite and put my mind at ease. Matt was really versatile with what he could cook and came up with the best menu that fit me and my wife’s restrictions. On the day of he was on time and very professional. His communication was awesome. He asked us how quickly or slowly we would like everything to be brought out. He brought appetizers to the living room and let us know when dinner was ready. The whole night was like we were at a 5 star restaurant in our own home. He even made a menu as if we were at one. Now the food was absolutely amazing from the appetizer to the desert. For the appetizer he did a Moroccan lamb pastry dough filled with minced lamb, mint, spices and herbs with a mango chutney Greek yogurt dip. We had a Caesar salad in between that and dinner. For the main course we had Grilled Tilapia with Picatta Sauce over herb roasted red and purple potatoes with grilled asparagus. And for desert Molten Lava Chocolate cake with crumbled pistachio, raspberry compote garnish. Me and my wife had a desert wine we had been meaning to open and try for a while. It was the the perfect desert for it. Matt was an amazing exceptional chef and we definitely hire him again.

Chef Matt was great. It was our first time booking a private chef. He was very responsive and easy to communicate with in planning the meal. He was very transparent about all costs. He is super nice, and it was so cute that my 6 year old would talk to Chef Matt every time she went through the kitchen.

We had such an amazing experience with Chef Matt! Every course of the meal was absolutely delicious and when we thought if couldn't get any better, we were blown away with the next course. What really blew my wife and I away though was the above and beyond service Matt provided. It was just my wife and I dining, but when he found out we had an 18 month old son at home, he surprised us by using some extra chicken from our Chicken Caprise appetizer (which, by the way, is TO DIE FOR) and made him his own little Panko-crusted 'Chicken Bites' plate so we could eat our meal stress-free and not worry about feeding him. That's just the kind of 'extra mile' service you'll get with Chef Matt. If it's any indication how good the food is, our 18mo is the pickiest eater on the planet and he devoured those chicken bites and wanted a second helping! The whole end-to-end experience was so easy, fun, and everything was perfect. If you're in need of a private chef, Chef Matthew Poss is who you should call.
