- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I quote each job by the estimated time, labor & material cost. Some jobs may take the same amount of time but require a varied amount of labor and tools. This makes having a set hourly rate near impossible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always prefer to meet a new customer in person and discuss what work needs to be completed. It is very hard to give an honest quote without first knowing completely what I have to work with.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained by a 30+ year custom home builder and I worked directly under his supervision for 4 years before I began taking on side jobs of my own. My true experience comes with every job I get hired for. No job is ever the same.
