FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A new customer can expect a free consultation before we begin working together. The consultation will not only give the customer an opportunity to get a feel for the environment and a chance to meet me but also give them the opportunity to explore goals, pricing and scheduling.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a personal trainer, I bring an extensive educational and training background to support my work. I hold a degree in kinesiology, which has provided me with in-depth knowledge of human movement, anatomy, and exercise physiology. This foundation allows me to design safe and effective workout programs tailored to each individual's goals and needs. In addition to my degree, I have over 8 years of hands-on experience in the field of personal training. This experience has allowed me to work with clients from diverse backgrounds, helping them achieve their fitness aspirations and improve their overall well-being. I have also completed a certification from Precision Nutrition, a reputable organization in the field of nutrition and wellness. This certification equips me with the knowledge and skills to provide guidance on nutrition and help clients establish healthy eating habits that complement their training programs.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was growing up my family was not considered very fit and we most certainly did not really eat healthy at all. I was overweight growing up until I started getting involved in sports. Sports/exercise showed me that my body could change drastically! As I got older I began to implement a healthier eating regimen. Not only was I feeling better (both mentally and physically), I was starting to feel great about my body too. My urge and passion to learn more and to be able to teach others what I have learned and am still learning is what drives me to do this type of work.
