Rather frustrated at the moment. While my hard drive and RAM have been replaced/updated, I am still waiting on data recovery. Yes, it is a long, difficult process. However, he has had my disk for 17 days and I do not have an update. The last communication I had where HE initiated was 10 days ago (12/12). Since then I have texted and called, but have had only one response. I totally understand that this is a side business and he has other things to do and a life outside of my job. However, I do expect more frequent communication on progress and an update on when I can get my files. The original quote was for data recovery and addressing the boot-up issues. So far only the boot-up has been addressed, as far as I can tell. Due to lack of updates, the best I can figure at this point is to put a stop-payment on a the check until my drive is once again available to me.

In my opinion, Tony's work ethic embodies the Thumbtack motto "Consider it done." I hired Tony to troubleshoot my laptop and recover data from hard drives that were damaged; files that I honestly thought had been lost forever. Simply put...the guy works miracles! Data recovery can be a time consuming task but he stayed in communication with me every step of the way, keeping me in the loop of his progress. He provides great service! I would definitely hire him again and would highly recommend him for your tech service needs.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I normally like to have atleast a basic Consultation over the phone with the Customer to hear form them with whats going on, the plan of action I will take and a time to receive the Computer for repairs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
17 years of Experience in the IT field ( Network Engineer, Network Administrator & Desktop Support). Fully certified with 17 Microsoft Certifications not excluding Security+, CNA/CNE, CCNA and HIPAA compliant. Because of my Extensive IT Background I would think would be a benefit to anybody requiring any Level of Computer Support ! Thank you for your consideration.
