- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every tech solution is tailored to you, with great information I can give a competitive and reliable quote. My most feared pricing is the diagnosis quote, this is tailored to the complexity of the problem described. The 1st hour is billed in full for a full or part hour working on your technology issue. After the first hour each subsequent hour is billed ONLY when worked in full, and is only charged upon correction of your problem. If you are requesting onsite technology solutions such as home network upgrades, installs, computer upgrades, no fees are initially charged as often an onsite visit is required to assure you the most accurate pricing. If you are seeking a tailored tech solution for your technology world, I will initially send you a $0 quote response so we can set up a good time and date to assess your needs and provide you with an accurate, detailed and most important, no obligation quote.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Most folks assume Wi-Fi is the way to go for their high speed internet needs and suffer dropped connections, network issues, and slow speeds at odd times. Unless you have a top of the line Wi-Fi set up, a wired + Wi0Fi solution will maximize your network connectivity and finally let you experience those high speeds you pay your provider to get. - What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Customers often seem skeptical about my initial diagnosis fee. If I do not have enough information to get a good idea of the problem from the quote request I will quote you for an initial diagnosis and hourly rate based on the complexity of the issue you described. Don't be scared by the diagnosis fee, often times I can fix a problem during the diagnosis which means you only pay for the diagnosis; no extras, no hidden fees, no surprises! If a diagnosis period IS required, you will pay no more than the quoted diagnosis fee if I am unable to correct your tech problem.
