Ryan with 1Up was fantastic! He fixed my drain issues quickly and at a great value, and shared several tips for the future. Company provided a free estimate, was very punctual and professional, provided great expertise and recommendations to potential work, and assisted me with documentation to provide to my homeowners insurance with very detailed notes and estimates, including pictures. Out of the 3 companies that we reached out to on Thumbtack, 1UP Plumbing company was the only honest one. The others said they wouldn’t touch it because they thought there could be more extensive damage and one even wanted us to call our insurance company and prepare for a big remodel job to remove everything in the bathroom without even pulling the toilet up to see if there was mold or how much water was underneath. 1UP came out and fixed the toilet leak within an hour for a reasonable price and saw there was not a lot of water and that it would dry out. Sure enough it is drying out very quickly. We do live in Arizona where water evaporates quickly. And Jason is so friendly and good human being. It felt like we were dealing with people in a small town who cared about us instead of a transactional big city experience. I am so grateful for this company being honest and responding quickly.
