I couldn't have asked for a better piano teacher for my 9 year old grandaughter.Laura is such an upbeat, patient teacher who inspires so much enthusiasm. My grandaughter had never had a lesson on the piano or ukele before and made excellent progress. She was looking out the window 20 minutes before the lesson to see when Laura was arriving!

I took Mary's piano class while I was at Saguaro High School. Going into the class, I had no prior experience and simply was interested in learning a little piano. By the end of the first semester, I had completely fallen in love with the piano and had learned a great deal about music in a short amount of time. I was able to take Mary's class for an entire year and it was definitely the high point of my school day. Mary's was able to not only able to teach me the fundamentals of piano, but also to introduce me to many wonders in the piano and music. I still play the piano to this day, and it is all because of Mary's instructing and how she was able to broaden the world of music to me. I owe it all to Mary, and I can guarantee that anyone would love to learn, work, and play with Mary.

I had a vocal session with Michelle to prep for an audition and she was very kind, professional and helpful. I then purchased the beginners piano lesson package, which is a great value, for my boyfriend. He is really enjoying his lessons. Michelle is a great instructor.

Will was a blessing for my son, who studied piano with him from ages 4 to 6. Will has high expectations, yet is patient, kind, and always encouraging. My son greatly enjoyed his piano lessons and would still be studying with Will if he had not left our area. Highly recommended!

Dr. Jeff is a great teacher. We are doing piano lessons for my 6 year old son, and flute for my 9 year old daughter. He even helped me find inexpensive instruments for them. Dr. Jeff is very patient with my incredibly energetic and TALKATIVE kids, refocusing them when they get offtrack during a lesson. They both look forward to their lessons, so I think that says alot about his teaching methods and how much they like him. (I know many adults who tell me they hated their music lessons as kids) I try hard not to have to cancel their lessons, but on the occasion it does happen he has been very accommodating to reschedule if possible. I would recommend Dr. Jeff to anyone young or old, who is interested in learning an instrument.

I began taking piano lessons from Mrs. Jordan when I was four years old. I am now an eighteen year-old pre-med honors student, and I attribute a large amount of my success to my lessons with her. Despite being her student for fourteen years, she still finds ways to make music challenging, educational, and above all else, fun. Mrs. Jordan is a master educator, spending however long is necessary with each individual student to figure out the way that they prefer to learn. In my large amount of experience with her, I have never once seen her give up on a student. Unlike many music teachers that I have studied under, Mrs. Jordan genuinely cares about the success, happiness, and advancement of her students, and I am proud to have studied under her. I was once one of the most lazy students that anyone had ever seen. Now, my work ethic is befitting of a future doctor, all because Mrs. Jordan found a way to make piano lessons something I WANTED to go to. If you are lucky enough to have your child take lessons from Mrs. Jordan, you will NOT be disappointed. I should also mention that Mrs. Jordan is not full of herself, like most expert teachers. In fact, when I started to play some extremely advanced piano, she offered to help me find another teacher, despite being more than capable. Of course I flat out refused, as when one has the option between gold and iron, one will always choose gold. Mrs. Jordan's music lessons are a golden opportunity for anyone who wants to learn about the wonderful world of music.

Hi! I’m Alexander and I took lessons from HL Piano Studio for around a year and it was amazing! When I started I knew nothing about piano and wanted to learn because of my love for the romantic period composers (Rachmaninov, Chopin, Prokofiev). She was very patient and knowledgeable about every facet of learning to play. If I hadn’t started with her I might have had a boring or dull experience. So thank you much for your training and spirit HL!

I take piano lessons from Chris and I highly recommend him. Chris is an extremely talented pianist and a great teacher. He is very flexible in finding material that the student will enjoy playing while still suiting the music to the students skill level and is able to isolate techniques. One thing I particularly enjoy about my lessons is that Chris does a great job of doing more than just helping me learning to play a song. He helps apply techniques of good piano playing to the pieces I am working on and explains how those techniques will affect the sound of the piece so it can be more emotional and entertaining. Now that I have been doing lessons with Chris for a while, we have started to adjust the structure of the lesson to add activities in our lessons that are geared toward my interests like music theory work or help strengthen some of my weaknesses like sight reading. Above all, Chris is an extremely kind person who genuinely cares about his students, their progress, and that they are enjoying both their lessons and learning the instrument as a whole.

I went to Bryan for a piano lesson--it was great! He was extremely patient and definitely knows his stuff. He was able to carefully and clearly explain challenging musical ideas to me. He also provided very practical tips that almost immediately improved my piano playing. When teaching, he is able to demonstrate even the most complex of techniques. The lesson was informative and well taught! None of my previous teachers even come close. I'll definitely be back!

My daughter has been taking piano lessons from Tim for more than 3 years. He is both an excellent pianist/musician and an excellent teacher. I have met and heard some of his more advanced students play as well, so I know he can take students well beyond where my daughter is now.
