Replacing the tiles went really well. Overall they did a great job and kept me informed the entire way. Had a hard time matching the existing tile and grout perfectly, but that isn’t their fault.
I wanted to write you because I just hired Ron with Grout Lines to make sure my upstairs shower here in Warner Ranch doesn’t eventually fall through the roof.
My wife and I moved into the neighborhood about two years ago, although my wife actually grew up here. As you probably know, many of the homes in Warner Ranch were built in the early 1990s, and they’re now at the age where some of the maintenance that might have been put off over the years is starting to catch up with them.
That’s what happened with our house.
The previous homeowner hadn’t kept up with some of the maintenance, and one of my biggest concerns was our upstairs shower. It’s a beautiful shower with expensive tile, but it had never been properly regrouted and resealed. Water was getting into the seams and cracks, and some of the grout was starting to turn black.
I wanted to get ahead of the problem before a relatively simple maintenance issue turned into serious water damage.
Eventually, my wife and I plan to do a full remodel of the house. But with how much home prices and remodeling costs have gone up since COVID, that project has been pushed considerably further down the timeline. For now, my goal was to protect what we already have and hopefully get another five or ten years out of the shower.
That’s where Ron came in.
He cleaned everything up, repaired the grout, and completely resealed the shower. He did a phenomenal job, and I was impressed enough with both his work and how he handled himself that I wanted to tell my neighbors about him.
When I find someone who provides good service and is a stand-up gentleman, I’m happy to recommend him.
If you have an older shower, bathtub, tile, or any other area where you’re concerned about water getting through the grout or seams, I’d recommend having Ron take a look. You can find his information here on Thumbtack.
I’m down here on Orchid Lane.
Our Warner Ranch homes are now more than 30 years old. I think little maintenance projects like this are part of taking care of our homes, protecting their value, and making sure they’ll be around for another 30 years.
If you’ve been putting off resealing or regrouting your shower, it’s worth looking into. It’s something I finally did, and I’m glad I did.

Excellent experience! Ron was extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and took great pride in his work repairing the grout cracks in our 9-year-old tile shower. The finished result exceeded our expectations—our shower looks as good as new. We highly recommend him for anyone needing grout repair.

Highly recommended!
Working with both Ron and Connie made getting my broken tiles replaced and the tiles that were lifting easy!
Ron gave valuable insights as to what tile pattern would be better for my existing pattern and I'm glad I listened to him. I texted pics while at the home improvement store to get his input.
Connie promptly follows up with the first request via Thumbtack I submitted, with the scheduling, and any questions I had a long the way. I would highly recommend them for any tilerepairs and replacements and will use again (if needed).
GREAT EXPERIENCE. Right from the beginning I would Highly Recommend them without a second thought. Ron Martin came to my house and before he left I already chose him to do my project. I was going to get 3 estimates and I was so Impressed by his Professionalism I gave him the job right there. His price of course was right in line with what I expected.
As it turns out the original project was only the beginning. As we talked about what and how he was going to do the work I thought about my other 2 Bathrooms having the same issues. Ron provided me with the price to do those and I
immediately agreed to get them done also.
The first day he was here we were discussing the poor quality of materials and workmanship. I showed him exactly what I was talking about and he shared what he could do to improve on them. That in turn was an additional project to be done.
Ron and his Wife Connie are so very Professional with their follow up calls estimated time of arrival.
One more very IMPORTANT FACTOR that I found to be very Professional was his respect for my house. Plastic Runners were laid down to prevent them from getting my floors dirty. After the entire project was completed they cleaned up and it looked like they were Never
here.
