I am a seasoned real estate investor with four properties in AZ. Prior to finding Rentals America, managing them was stressful at best, and all ended in disasters. One prior company even went bankrupt and I had to have the properties re-keyed! When I finally found Rentals America, property management instantly became a positive experience! Not to mention, one that I really don't have to think about anymore. Upon taking over my properties, they quickly and efficiently powered through all the back maintenance requests that needed to be done, and as the bad tenants that I inherited either from the old management company or from a recent purchase filtered out, they advised me and then rapidly completed any deferred maintenance issues and capital upgrades that needed to be done. Then, and perhaps most importantly - they placed high quality tenants who ALWAYS pay on time and most who stay for multiple years. My vacancy rate with them has been so low, that it's almost no longer a factor in my projections. I have now been with Rentals America for over 5 years and highly recommend them. They place high quality tenants, listen and cater to owners, and genuinely care about their jobs. The president and CEO Luc Marceau has been a wonderful sounding board of advice over the years, especially on market and area considerations, which has been invaluable when we look at / think about acquiring new properties. He is even a licensed broker and has a fantastic real estate agent (Ben Scheier) who works with him who has helped me acquire some great properties. In addition, my currently assigned property manager Andrea not only expertly does what a property manager should do (repairs, comp advice for rent rates, etc) but she also deftly navigates the tricky liability line in making sure she contacts me at the correct email address for properties that are in different ownership structures and even works over holiday weekends when properties are vacant if a good tenant prospect comes through. This is just one of the many reasons my vacancy rate has been so low. Finally, my tenants have NEVER complained about their managers - and paying/receiving rents has been positive for both sides with direct debit and direct deposit options and a great online account management tool. All in all, as a real estate investor I can tell you that they are unparalleled at what they do. It makes me wish they were in more states than just AZ.

I live on the East Coat. After posting my job request, Cindy contacted me right away. I liked that she was straightforward, which made me engage her immediately. My house had lot of work that needed to be done in order to get it ready for rental. She took a lot of initiative in getting multiple quotes for service, made several recommendations, and then facilitated the work. Once it was available for showing, she gave me feedback from potential renters and screened them. She didn't charge me a cent until after the renter moved in and her cost was less than other property managers'. She manages all the administration and I get my monthly rent deposited into my account each month. It was effortless for me and I'm confident that I now have the best possible situation for managing my house from afar. If and when I am ready to sell my house, I will also ask Cindy to represent my interests then. I think she's honest, dependable and diligent. Even having said that, I don't think I am giving her enough credit for what she's done for me and I would be happy to share more about my experience with someone interested in using Cindy's services. Service Star Realty has been everything we wanted in a property management company. When we found a home that we loved, Service Star had us the keys within 2 weeks. They made the daunting process of becoming tenants quick and seemless! They were very transparent when it came to signing a lease and there were no hidden fees or clauses. They have been very responsive to maintenance requests and are always quick to check and make sure all is being taken care of. We just renewed our lease because we love our home and Service Star has made it easy to be a tenant.

Doug has done a spectacular job in a very short time. He is extremely professional, always thinking how to make it better. After giving our prior property management their 30 day notice. I was informed at that time that there were 3 apartments to be cleaned and 3 had been vacant for better than 3 weeks. He had them filled before the apartments were done. He is highly recommended, professional, prompt turn around and very easy to work with. He always arrives early for appointments, Doug is punctual, articulate and we cannot say enough things about him. We are VERY pleased with the quality of Dougs work.

Phone calls are answered, e-mails immediately responded to. Pro-active approach to issues regarding our property. Our former management company did not give us the attention we deserved for being a small HOA. Choice CAM makes everyone feel like they matter, no matter how small the account. Finally as a board member I know what is going on within my community. E-mail blasts are a very effective tool of communication with our homeowners.
