Introduction: I started doing yoga in 2001 to maintain my back between chiropractic adjustments. I have kept up with a personal practice (with some breaks! ;-) since then. In 2018, I finally took my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training. Big influences for me are B.K.S. Iyengar, Baron Baptiste, Shiva Rae and Rod Stryker. I have also been a licensed Massage Therapist since 2007, and specialize in therapeutic massage. I have had a daily meditation practice for about five years.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I started doing yoga after I reversed all the curves of my spine. I was advised to have a rod put in my spine, and I am so grateful I didn’t. Yoga keeps me healthy and pain free.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Beginners should start with at most a half hour practice and build from there to avoid getting too sore. A little yoga daily is better than a lot here and there.
