The provider was professional, explained exactly what and how the cleaning of my furniture would be done. They appeared to care that I was more than satisfied with their cleaning results and offered to clean up the floor area, as well. I was very pleased with them and their service and would highly recommend to anyone.

Robert was punctual, courteous, polite and professional. We walked and reviewed the areas to be cleaned, he asked what we were hoping to achieve and provided a cost for the work up front before starting. We could have been happier with the cleaning he performed and the price he charged. We were very impressed and satisfied with the end result. I would strongly recommend Best Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning.

The "Maids" arrived on time and did a good job - the house was empty and I had carpet cleaners and grout cleaner and window cleaner coming in so it is hard to judge how they clean furniture or floors or windows. But the owner helped arrange all the supplemental services which I appreciated and everyone was on time and did a good job. Thanks.

During our 15-years permanent residents of Casa Grande, I can say without a doubt that “Clean-N-Mean It” crew is absolutely the best residential house cleaning service we have experienced. Their main focus is on a superior and detailed cleaning job. My experience with other companies that tend to speed through to wipe it down and get out as fast as possible, Sharon’s team spends the time to catch the little things. They use good products and perform a thorough job, (others use harsh products, scour pads, and deodorizer sprays to hid the dirt missed). In my walk throughs at the end of each service, I have not found anything missed for them to “go back over”. Cleaning inside and out and all the things on all the shelves. And o-My-Gosh I never realized just how clean my windows and screens can be, Joe made it so we can clearing see the sparkle of the outside world. I highly recommend you give “Clean-N-Mean It” the opportunity to impress you with what a cleaning service is really all about.

From beginning to end, Tiffany, Angela and their crew instilled my confidence in them to handle the many aspects of our home remodeling project. They can easily tackle small and large jobs including painting, plumbing, carpentry, etc. Their willingness to go above and beyond was very much appreciated and speaks to their professionalism and dedication. Additionally, their recommendations proved to be invaluable when planning and budgeting. I felt like communication was always open and honest, there were no surprises and I couldn't have asked for the job to have gone better. The final result of the refurbishment is beautiful and a day and night comparison. Thank you Tiffany and Angela! We will be calling on your for all of our future projects!

We'd have REN Cleaning Service come back in a heartbeat! They did a great job and I am stunned by how dramatic the difference is in my carpets! I have used several different carpet cleaners in the past, but these are the guys I would recommend, my carpets look brand new again!

Brad and his Beeline Steam Carpet Cleaning is "top of the line!" He works harder than any carpet cleaner we've had and the result is bright, clean carpets. Brad is very neat and wears covers on his shoes and leave a pair for the customer to use while the carpets are drying. In addition to 3 areas of white carpets, he did 3, small throw rugs and they came out clean and bright. Brad is friendly, sincere, knowledgeable, industrious, and honest. He does what he says he'll do and backs it up with hard work and great results. When they need it again, Brad and Beeline Steam will be cleaning our carpets! Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

What is upholstery cleaning?

From your carpets to your drapes to your furniture, all fabrics need to be cleaned. Cleaning upholstery, or the fabric on your furniture, removes the dirt and oils that are transferred to couches and chairs through regular use. Because furniture upholstery can be delicate and colors can fade easily, it’s often a good idea to let professional sofa cleaners handle the job. They’ll determine the type of fabric — usually cotton, linen, wool, suede or microfiber — and the appropriate method for cleaning it, either steam-cleaning or applying a dry-cleaning solvent. In general, cleaning an entire piece of furniture includes a pretreatment, cleaning, and neutralizing rinse to the body, plus removing and cleaning all cushions and cleaning all crevices.

An upholstery cleaner may clean the entire piece of furniture, on a regular schedule or by request, or do spot treatments to remove pet, food, drink, or oil and grease stains. Furniture can also be deodorized to remove the smell of pets or tobacco smoke. Furniture that’s used often, like that in your family room, should be cleaned once a year to keep it fresh and extend its life. Sofa cleaners often also offer repair services to mend tears in fabric or patch holes in leather.

How much do you pay for house cleaning?

Hiring a professional house cleaning service is a helpful way to have a healthy home even when your work and personal schedule is packed. House cleaning prices vary based on how many square feet your home is, how dirty your house gets, and how often the cleaning service comes. Some companies charge a set amount — such as 5 cents — per square foot, with a minimum amount, such as $100. The national average cost for house cleaning ranges between $110 and $150. Prices can be lower in areas with a lower cost of living, higher in big cities or affluent regions. You may save money by increasing the frequency of your house cleaning visits. Often a company will charge you less per cleaning when you schedule more cleanings per month. The cost advantage rewards your loyalty, and also reflects the fact that more frequent cleanings make it easier to maintain a high level of cleanliness in your home. A housecleaning service may charge more for the first visit or for one-time services than for recurring cleanings.

How much does it cost to deep clean a house?

Deep cleaning a house goes beyond the surface level to clear out the dust, grime and gunk that’s collecting on the fan blades, hiding in the blinds, and built up inside the refrigerator drawers. Deep cleaning of a home or apartment costs more than regular house cleaning because it takes more time, effort, and cleaning products. You may choose to have a deep cleaning once or several times a year in addition to your standard cleaning services. You may have a one-time deep cleaning to prepare for company or to clean after a house party. Companies may charge an hourly rate or a price per square foot, or may offer you a flat rate after they have visited your home and estimated work time. The national average house cleaning price is $110-$150, with rates ranging higher for deep-cleaning services. Here are some examples of how a company may calculate their deep-cleaning prices:

  • 10 cents per square foot (compared with 5 cents per square foot for standard house cleaning).
  • $300 for a 3,000-square-foot home.
  • $25 per hour per worker for deep-cleaning services.

Who cleans couches?

Even if your furniture doesn’t appear dirty or stained, your couches are collecting just as much dust, pollen, germs, pet hair and dander, and even food crumbs as your carpets. In general, the same professionals who clean your carpets and drapes can also clean your couches. Carpet cleaners usually offer upholstery cleaning services as well, and may offer a discount if you have your carpets cleaned at the same time. Alternatively, you can choose from a range of professional upholstery cleaners in your area who specialize in cleaning different types of upholstery fabrics, including delicate antique fabrics and other hard-to-clean materials such as suede. In addition to deep-cleaning the entire piece of furniture, sofa cleaners can spot-treat food, pet, and oil and grease stains. Most professionals also offer services to sanitize and deodorize your furniture and apply protectants to prevent future stains. As with carpets, experts recommend that you have your upholstered furniture cleaned once every year or two, depending on how much use it gets and whether you have children and pets.

How much does upholstery cleaning cost?

The cost to have your upholstered furniture cleaned depends mostly on two factors: the size of the furniture and the type of fabric. The national average cost of upholstery cleaning ranges from $120 to $150. Most people have multiple pieces cleaned at once, but sofa cleaners will come to your home for just one heavily soiled couch or to spot-treat stains. The smaller the furniture, the lower the cost: A lounge chair may cost an average of $50 to clean, while a couch costs an average of $135 and an L-shaped sectional costs an average of $190. Delicate materials such as antique fabrics or suede upholstery are more expensive to clean than sturdier ones. Having the sofa cleaner do repairs will also add to the cost. Repairs such as mending a tear in fabric or patching a hole in leather may be charged by the task or by the hour; in general, repairs cost an average of $15 each. Special or delicate fabrics may cost additional fees, too.
