- What types of customers have you worked with?
Desktop and Laptop maintenance and repair are the most common requests I receive. I assist individuals with data backup and recovery, virus and malware recovery, antivirus/anti-spam solutions, and general consulting for their personal or business needs. I also assist small and medium size businesses with network and system implementation, maintenance and repair.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I took in a HP laptop for a customer recently. It was a fairly new laptop; she had it for just over a year. The display quit working, HP said the warranty had expired and they would not help her, even though she spent $1,500 on it a year ago! I felt very frustrated for my client. I did some research on the issue and found that the LCD cable had a design flaw and hundreds of customers were reporting the same problem. I decided to battle this one out with HP and over the course of several weeks, escalated the problem until they agreed to fix the laptop. My client saved a lot of money on this one and I was glad to help.
