- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I originally had a gift for Artist and loved colors, lines, blending, ect. Makeup was no exception. I played with it when I was younger. And, loved it since.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Well, recently I did artistic makeup for an Art Major student. She had a photo shoot and met me at Mac and asked everyone to do a very artistic piece on her face and a lot of people were unsure they can do it so they pointed to me since I have that background and she loved it and hired me again for another piece.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for someone with great experience like working for companies like MAC because they give a lot of training and teach you new trends. Or someone who always gets trained by going to MAC and paying for extra training or taking courses by other organizations like the Makeup Show.
