Very easy to work with, even if you don’t have much experience throwing specialized events. The day of our party everyone was on time and very personable. Overall it was an excellent experience and I would absolutely recommend them.
Carlyn saved me....I had 6 weeks to plan a wedding. I had the venue, my home but nothing else and very little time as we chose a Dec 31 date and figured it would be impossible to find a caterer and a band. I found Thumbtack when googling wedding planners so I went for it and Carlyn's name up and I contacted her. She responded immediately which was reassuring in itself and we made plans to meet. Carlyn was warm and kind and very prepared at that first meeting. She had lined up a caterer and a band for my approval and we hit the ground running with flowers and place settings. We had similar ideas of how we envisioned the wedding. Everything just clicked. The whole experience was wonderful. I knew it was going to be a fabulous wedding. I was planning my 50 year birthday party. I had two bands booked with no venue and a tight budget. Debbie came in and found multiple venues within my budget and not only found an amazing venue, but was there with me every step of the way from beginning to party. It was one of the most memorable nights of my life and I could not have done it without her. Her ability to know what you're looking for and work towards ensuring her client is happy was a God send. Christie Roshau helped plan and coordinate my daughter's 1st birthday. For all you parents out there, you know how special a first birthday is. Christie went above and beyond my expectations. She was always on time, helped with the planning, décor and dessert creations. In addition to these tasks, she was my photographer for the party as well. She gave me the edited photos to share with family and friends immediately. She worked extremely hard to get them done and back to me quickly. I'm impressed with her creativity, drive, and thought she puts into everything she produces. She even surprised me with a picture she took that is just priceless. She made my daughter's party memorable and special. My husband and I received so many compliments from our friends and family. I do plan on using her again for all my party needs. I found Sheila just a few weeks before my event (a nautical themed going away party) and she was happy to help, even at such short notice. It was a party of about 35 guests and Sheila made my day that much easier so I could just relax and enjoy the party! I was looking to do something along the lines of hawaiian bbq and she put together a great menu of apps and entrees, including corn salsa, volcano shrimp, pork sliders, bacon wrapped pineapple, hawaiian fried rice, pineapple ham, and teriyaki chicken. The presentation was great, including an amazing goat cheese and pecan dip in the shape of a pineapple! Everything was so delicious... every single guest asked where the food came from and raved about how good it was. On top of all that, Sheila went above and beyond and provided some decor. Each food item had hand made anchor name tags and the sliders had adorable anchor picks through them! There were also super cute decorated mason jars to fit the theme with hand sprayed flowers in them. It just made everything that much more special! I would absolutely recommended Sheila to anyone! She is more than willing to work with you and create a great experience that is personalized exactly to what you want and need.
Adetoun is the best thing that happened to me during my wedding planning process. I hired her to do my decoration and she was exceptional. We bonded from our first meeting and she was one stop shop as she planned everything. She is very professional and keeps to her words. She did everything she said she was gonna do and even more. when the doors opened for the guess to walk into the reception venue, their face lit up because they felt like they were in Cinderella's ballroom. Everything looked so amazing. I couldn't be happier that i chosed her and i thank God for leading me to her. She made me have my dream wedding. Glorious Details & Ginny Vincent-Moore planned my baby shower and it was a truly fantastic experience. I traveled from out of town and all of the details were taken care of. I gave her a theme, the guest list and where I wanted the event to take place and she literally took care of every detail for me! I was able to enjoy my trip, my special day and not have to worry about anything. If you are unsure about using an event planner, I would highly suggest speaking with Ginny about what she can bring to the table. Every detail is covered and guaranteed to knock your socks off!

The dream for Chef Anitra Cheree' began as a result of my past work history and a void that needed to be filled. As a former marketing manager for a managed health care company in Chicago, Illinois, my main responsibility was to evaluate trends and product strategies, promote new products and maintain client services. During the evaluation process, I realized how critical it was to make our marketing representatives stand out and did so by developing creative marketing strategies to make that happen. Additionally, my national sorority had always sought me out to help with planning for fundraising events. It was a task that came easy to me because I enjoy the process of making a vision become reality. From the success of the fundraising and creative marketing events I produced, a colleague suggested I apply for a position at Kellogg School of Management. Guessing that the work couldn't be much different from my current work, I snagged the position and worked there three years as their special events coordinator. From there, I was recruited to a university where my work as an event planner began to stand out. Soon, corporations and organizations began contacting me to produce their events. As a result, Chef Anitra Cheree' was born.
