FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I'm constantly looking at videos online, visiting websites and reading books to educate myself on the latest tools, methods, procedures and helpful tips to better my work, and also to enable me to perform a job even quicker, without losing any quality. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? :)
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common things I do are usually plumbing related jobs, e.g. sinks, faucets, leaky toilets or tubs. These jobs are a priority, because left unchecked, water can damage a lot more than just the area affected. Water seeps into the walls, flooring, etc. causing more costly repairs in the future. Also included would be leaky windows, roofs, skylights, gutters and drains, or anywhere where water can sneak inside your home.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently completed a hardwood floor in a house that was being remodeled for a client who was looking to sell the property. The floor was a dark red color, and being a glue down floor, any excess glue on the surface would have shown. When it was complete, the floor turned out amazing, and along with the new interior paint, the owner sold the home less than a week later for his full asking price. He commented that the first thing potential buyers noticed was the beautifully done hardwood floor. I have pictures of it on my profile, see for yourself. Not bad for a handyman... *Wink*
