- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My base fee is $200 for up to 100 miles from the 85383 zip code. My fee then goes up +$.50/mile after. The reason for the fee increase is due to mileage and drive time. If I am needed at a rehearsal an added fee of $50 will be applied. If you require me to reserve multiple dates for your wedding an additional cost of $50/day will be applied. If you are active military, reserves, veteran, active law enforcement officials, and active fire persons I would like to say thanks for your service and sacrifice by offering you a 15% off.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial contact via email; 2nd contact for wedding idea details either on the phone or in person. I then create a few rough drafts of the ceremony and send them to the client. I make changes that the client wants finalizing the ceremony. I take no money down and take payments the day of the wedding. I will take the filled out certificate and file it with the court on the next business day at no extra charge.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My sister asked me if I would get ordained and officiate her wedding. It was a huge honor so I found all the information about how to get ordained. Once I got my ordination certificate and did her wedding ceremony I found that I loved doing it a lot more than my regular job. So I started doing weddings more.
