I would recommend this duo to anyone. They were willing to learn requested Christmas music for an outdoor event in Verrado and spent many hours in preparation. We want to have them back again for a spring or summer event. You will fall in love with them.

These two are amazing!! We were blown away by their renditions of classic songs! Perfect for any kind of cocktail party/corporate event! Everyone was astounded at their performances throughout the night. They were so easy to work with and so professional in their craft! Will definitely be reaching out to them in the future!

We loved playing for Arizona College at Culinary Dropout! People danced and requested songs, and the food was incredible. Thank you so much for hosting us and for this generous review!

I know Kierstyn (founder, keyboardist, songwriter) personally and can vouch that she and Emma (singer) have created something rare. Kierstyn is an incredible keyboardist, composer and all-around musician and Emma (the singer) has a gorgeous voice and a wonderful upbeat stage presence. Both as a band and in their personal lives they are humble, hard-working and honest. Their original music has thoughtful lyrics, an inventive sound and is really catchy (I get “Spark” stuck in my head all the time). Couldn’t recommend more!

Kierstyn and Emma have a happy and contagious vibe which is clearly displayed in all of the music they make and will bring that to any event they play. They both have an eye for detail and perfection in their product so you can rest assured that they will put in the effort to bring your musical vision to light! They are both talented, excellent at communication, versatile with the styles they can play, dedicated to their art and will do the best of their ability to provide you with the best experience! In hiring Zoetic, you know you’re going to get a band that truly has a passion for music and an ear for excellence!

I worked directly with Kierstyn. If she said she’d get something done, it got done. Very communicative and clear about expectations. She and her singer have a such a versatile and polished sound - they pull off rock, pop, jazz, whatever.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Base pricing is $220 per hour. This includes both of us as well as local travel. We don’t charge for set up or tear down time. We charge an extra travel fee of $30 if the gig is more than 30 miles away. We ask for half the gig price as a non-refundable deposit as soon as the gig is confirmed on thumbtack. If the gig is cancelled at any point we keep the deposit, and if the gig is cancelled with less than one week’s notice, we will charge the rest of the amount of the gig. This protects us from rapid changes in income and last minute cancellations.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We will drive to your location, take fifteen minutes to set up, and begin playing. We will not charge you for the time it takes to set up or tear down. Feel free to send us specific songs that you'd like to hear us perform at the gig! We do have a basic setlist that we pick and choose from for every gig, but can learn up to three songs specifically requested from you as well as long as we have at least two weeks advance notice. If the gig is an hour, we won’t take a break. Two hours, we take one fifteen minute break at the 55 minute mark. Three hours, we take two fifteen minute breaks, one at 55 minutes and one at an hour and 55 minutes. Breaks are included in the hourly rate. You do not need to provide a piano or any other equipment. However, it would be easier for us to use your sound system or piano than for us to bring our own, so if you have one, that would work great!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Kierstyn has a Bachelor's in Music from Arizona State University. Emma has been a part of the CGCC Jazz Ensemble as well as the ASU Gospel Choir. Together they run an instagram page for their music (both originals and covers) that has over 3,800 followers and a spotify page for their original music that has over 3,000 monthly listeners.
