If I could give more starts to Amber (Hermosa Catering), I would absolutely do so. She’s absolutely amazing with the work she does. I reached out to her to schedule a private chef experience (dinner) to celebrate my birthday. She had a dinner special going on and I decided to take advantage of it. My husband and I were looking to do something different for my birthday, especially since we have a toddler (2 year-old, to be exact). We know going to restaurants with a little one can be challenging so I didn’t hesitate to reach out to Amber (Hermosa Catering) and hire her services. And, oh my goodness, am I glad I did. She gave us the experience of a fancy restaurant at the comfort of our own home. The food she made us was so tasty. She explained what every dish was and what ingredients it had. Dinner was served at 5 and she arrived 3 hours prior to prepare it. She was professional and courteous at all times. And she did the cleanup after. What else could I have asked for? A clean kitchen for the win. It was a great experience. Again, the food was amazing and we had plenty of left over food. We will definitely hire her again for another special occasion. Currently Amber has been meal prepping for me once a week. I have a busy schedule and do not like eating out so it’s been very helpful having Amber cook delicious meals for me. She always goes above and beyond and you can see how she genuinely cares about her product and how it’s presented, packaged and how it tastes. I’m a very picky eater and I thank her for her patience with me and my requests. Every meal is well packaged, and you’re never left hungry as she always makes sure to leave enough for seconds. Amber was an absolute gem to work with! She went above and beyond to ensure everything stayed within my budget, even with all my last-minute requests. She put together an amazing display of fruits, veggies, and a charcuterie board for my guests to enjoy while she cooked dinner. She also made the most delicious brownies, macarons, and gluten-free cupcakes (which was a special request on my part). As for the dinner, she made marry-me chicken, creamy mashed potatoes, and some asparagus and broccoli. All my guests were raving about how great the food was! We also had the pleasure of meeting Christie, Amber's server for the evening - Aside from helping Amber in the kitchen, she did a fantastic job at refilling our drinks and disposing of our trash when we were done so that we could enjoy dinner and the company of our guests. If we ever have another occasion where we need catering or private chef services, we’ll definitely be using Amber again.
