- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was the first to start the business in my surrounding area. My family thought I was crazy, as I left a high paying job, working for a land development firm. They said "your going to watch pets and walk dogs???" I said - You Bet! It was obvious it didn't take long for the rest of Arizona & surrounding states to catch on and before long there were 100 other business's like mind doing the same thing! I can understand now how McDonald's felt when Burger King and Jack & the box came into the picture!
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I'm most proud of the job I do when I can truly help a pet client - owner and pet both! Recently I had a client who had sadly backed up their truck on a camping trip without realizing their little dog (Shih Tzu) was behind them! Thank God she survived the horrible accident, however, consequently, the poor little girl needed hip surgery and her mom and dad had already booked their flights to go on vacation the same week she had her surgery. They called me to go in and check on her, as well as her bro & sis, three times a day for over a week. I was able to pick her up each visit and carry her out to the back yard while I held a sling under her so that I could support her while she did her business! I would also administer the three medications she had to take, as well as using warm compresses on her back end to facilitate the healing and provide some relief for her. I did this while still finding time to provide attention & love to her two siblings at the same time! She was almost running along side her bro & sis by the time her parents arrived home! It's jobs like this that remind me I'm making a difference in this world!

What makes a Great Professional Pet Sitter?? - Someone who has been in Business for over 11 yrs (Longer than most in the valley)! - Someone who has made this their Full Time Career...EXPERIENCE is something Everyone should Demand when trusting your family members with others! - Someone who is Insured, Pet CPR Cert and Able to administer All types of meds to your loved ones! And...a person "ME", who will Always treat your babies like their own...with loving care!
