We had RayBen upgrade and repair our outdoor grill island, adding stone and tile. They did a beautiful job ! Photos showing new and old.

RayBen came out and we talked for a few minutes and he said it would be a week or so for the quote. Then he asked for a $150 quote fee which I was not made aware of. I reached out a couple days later advising that I could not find on his site anywhere advising of the fee and that we were going another route. Asked for my money back since no quote was provided. What a Rip Off!!!

Julia, on our profile it clearly states there is a $150 fee. This fee is only waived if hired for the job. Please look further into the pricing option. Thumbtack has confirmed it is visible on our profile.
We were not aware you had an issue with the fee until after you decided to go a different route. You sent a message stating- "We have decided to go with a different company, so if it’s possible to get my money back that would be greatly appreciated." To which we replied Thanking you for letting us know, our fee policy and that we wished you the best with your project.
On-site walk-throughs tend to take more than a "few minutes" and our fee is only waived if hired and will be applied to the project once a contract is signed. We wish you the best with your project!!!
