FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At JM Repairs, we believe in fair, transparent, and honest pricing. Every project is evaluated based on its specific needs—no hidden fees or surprise charges. I offer competitive rates that reflect the quality of work and materials used, and I’m always happy to provide a free estimate before any work begins. Discounts may be available for repeat customers, senior citizens, and bundled services. My goal is to deliver dependable repairs at a price that makes sense for your budget, without ever cutting corners on quality.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, my process is straightforward and focused on clear communication and quality results: Initial Contact – We start with a conversation to understand your repair needs. You can reach out by phone, text, or email—whatever is most convenient for you. On-Site Assessment – If needed, I’ll schedule a visit to assess the issue in person. This helps me provide an accurate diagnosis and the best possible solution. Free Estimate – After the assessment, I’ll provide a free, detailed estimate outlining the scope of work, materials (if needed), timeline, and total cost. Scheduling – Once we agree on the work and the price, we’ll schedule the job at a time that works best for you. Work Execution – I’ll show up on time, complete the work with care and attention to detail, and keep you updated throughout the process. Final Walkthrough – After the job is done, I’ll do a final walkthrough with you to make sure everything meets your expectations and nothing is left unfinished. My goal is to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible, from the first call to the final cleanup.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 10 years of hands-on experience as a professional facilities technician, which has given me extensive, real-world training across all areas of home maintenance and repair. In addition to field experience, I’ve completed trade-specific training in electrical systems, plumbing basics, HVAC maintenance, drywall, and general carpentry. Throughout my career, I’ve also taken safety and code compliance courses to ensure all work meets current industry standards. I stay up to date with evolving repair techniques and materials to provide the most efficient and lasting solutions for my clients. My education is grounded in doing the work day in and day out—with a focus on quality, safety, and reliability.
