FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As a handyman we offer several different types of services. We offer home maintenance, landscaping, home/Apt cleaning, trash out, interior/ exterior home painting and junk removal services to name a few. The costs for every job varies depending on the size of the job and the cost of he materials to complete the work order. Our motto is no job too small, with that said the smallest or minimum you will ever have to pay for the simplest of handyman services is 65 dollars. We will always do the job as if we were doing it for ourselves and we pride ourselves in keeping costs as low as possible by fixing only what needs to be fixed to avoid unnecessary costs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with new customers we try not to overwhelm the customer by explaining in terminology that they may not be familiar with. We make sure to break things down on the customer's level so that we are all on the same page and the customer knows exactly all that entails the job and project at hand. We make sure that the customer is privy to the cost of the materials and the cost for labor so that there are no hidden surprises/costs. Making sure that the customer is thoroughly informed each step of the way builds trust between Mr. Maintenance Man and the customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Most all of our training is hands on and learned through shear hard work and experience. Mr. Maintenance Man started working as a Handyman back in the mid 1980s as an apartment building Maintenance man fixing electrical outlets, bathroom toilets, ceiling fans and light fixtures. Fast forward to 2016 after several Home Maintenance jobs and lots more experience finally landing a job as a Handyman with Simply Home Repairs, a very reputable Home maintenance company in 2012 that has its own rave reviews on thumbtack. Mr. Maintenance Man's experience in Home Maintenance that spans over three decades speaks for itself.
