Introduction
My training approach has been honed over 13 years of professional experience. Instead of simply putting clients through workouts, the goal is to understand who I am working with, what clients wish to achieve in regards to their goals, and what may have occurred in their life that made them decide to begin their journey. This approach has been successful in that clients are able achieve their goals with a R.E.A.L. approach; producing life changes which incorporates a lifestyle of fitness. When working with clients, a point is made to adapt fitness as a lifestyle while jointly focusing on clients’ life goals. By making realistic changes to a person’s diet and exercise routine, one is able to create new and positive habits. Also, by constantly setting regular goals and objectives for the client to meet progress is always made and motivation never lacks. Training sessions are specifically designed for each individual client. I do my best to make sessions interesting, creative and varied. I have 4 life principles; "R.E.A.L." to help clients make positive life changes: Recognize - Expect - Accept - Let go My training philosophy of "Goals - Lifestyle - Nutrition - Training - Results - Repeat" is simple with no gimmicks. For far too many, fitness is looked at as a way to achieve a goal and not the goal itself. This is shortsighted and often results in the client not sustaining results. My opinion is this: “Results should not be based on or defined by what a scale says or how much weight can be lifted. It should based on ones desire to better themselves mentally as well as physically. Knowing Joel Banfield for years I could see how he really interacts and treats his clients. Taking the time to really crack down on what needs to be done with you to make progress. After trying fitness on my own I made some okay goals in strength and size. After fully letting Joel control my workouts I've not only seen more progress from what I've achieved before but he got my body to proportionately look better. Fixing my muscle imbalances and areas lacking muscle due to not being able to work those areas as well. After working out with him over 8 months there's always so much more to learn from him making me become more knowledgeable with fitness. He's the type of trainer everyone should want

I'm actually just starting with Joel, but he is a caring person, and definitely dedicated to helping people. I feel very thankful to have found him, and look forward to the journey its going to take to reach my goal. One thing I can say is he shows to truly care, and take time to understand your needs.

To be very honest, my opinion is going to be biased. I don't call him Joel Banfield,I call him coach! When it comes to personal growth and the ability to explain and teach you the proper way of living a healthier lifestyle, and reaping the benefits of hard work and dedication, this is the man you want to go to. His ability to help you overcome the mental obstacles gives way for you to understand that there is truly no limit in what you desire as individual. His creative but straightforward teaching abilities allows you to relate to him for the better sake of reaching your own goals. It's easy for a trainer to guide you, it really means something when your trainer takes you there!

He has helped me become stronger and more athletic. Training with Joel has helped me grow confidence and trust in myself. I am a track athlete, but he will adjust workouts due to your unique situation.
