Hello! My name is Alyssa - I have been in the fitness space for over 6 years with experience working as a personal trainer, strength and conditioning coach, and health and wellness coach. Below are my credentials and I’ve trained over 100 people, helping them transition into a healthier and sustainable lifestyle. Credentials: -Masters in Exercise Physiology -Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA) -Nutritionist (Precision Nutrition) -Pre and Post-Natal Coach (Girls Gone Strong) Fitness is more than just working out. As someone who is living with an Autoimmune condition, Type 1 Diabetes, I recognize how important having a holistic approach to health is. I utilize my understanding of taking a holistic approach with my clients as well. It’s important that your program that we create together will be sustainable and realistic and encompass all four pillars of health. The Four Pillars of Health: *MOVEMENT *NUTRITION *MINDSET *RECOVERY Every pillar has a purpose - and if you’re lacking in one area, the other areas can suffer. Your training with me will be very comprehensive in all areas with frequent check-ins to assess training difficulty, recovery from workouts, behavior change, habit building, and proper nutrition to support your goals. I pride myself in being a supportive and empathetic coach, but also know how to push my clients when they need it! Creating new habits and building consistency can be challenging - and having accountability and someone along your journey who understands makes a world of difference! AREAS OF SPECIALITY: -Individuals with chronic conditions (specifically T1 and T2 diabetes) -Pre-natal, post-natal, new moms, and those trying to get pregnant -Individuals seeking to build new habits with fitness but don’t know where to start All of my services are completely remote! *I use a strength training app to send you your workouts every week. Workouts will be tailored based on the equipment you have available to you (either in a gym setting or at home) *We will use either Facetime or Zoom to do our check in calls.
