- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Fees are as follows: Daily Visits: $40 (one to three visits daily) Overnight Stays (includes the daily care): $40 (Up to 3 animals; anything after that is an extra $5) Pet Sitting Services Included (Daily and Overnight) • Provide company for your pet(s), even taking them outside to play • Feed and give the pet fresh water • Take the dog for a walk outside for exercise • Clean litter boxes and clean up any other pet mess that may occur • Administer medications • Bring in mail, put out the trash bins, and water plants
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meet and greets are a must. I provide all the necessary information to ensure that you know who is staying at your home (background check, resume, contact information) so that you feel comfortable. I have worked with animals for almost 5 years now (fostering, bottle feeding, administering medications, etc). I treat your pets and home as if they were my home. I send daily updates, pictures and let you know of any questions or concerns that might arise.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out petsitting/house sitting for friends. Once I realized how lucrative/helpful of a business this was, I began to take this more seriously. Plus, I have always loved and cared for animals since I was a child. I am a volunteer for several nonprofits, shelters and the AZ humane society. I have done it all. Fostered puppies, adult pets, worked in kitten nurseries, walked kenneled dogs in shelters, administered medication, bottle fed orphaned puppies and kittens - the works. One day I would love to run a nonprofit and take care of as many animals as possible. Pets are my passion.
