Jean-Paul is a great teacher. A native french speaker as well as fluent in spanish. I enjoyed learning from Jean-Paul as he is adaptable to each student's needs. His availability was always flexible and he was punctual. Although his service is a little expensive, I felt like his instruction is worth the price.

Ana is wonderful. I am a doctor learning Spanish for my work with immigration patients. She is always on time, professional, and friendly. She is clearly an experienced teacher as exhibited through her patient and supportive approach. She is able to assist with both informal conversational Spanish, as well as professional spoken and written Spanish. In addition to her proficiency with Spanish language, she can integrate cultural issues into the lessons as requested. Her rates are reasonable, and she is flexible with her time when needed.

My son was in Angela's pre-K class at Desert Willow Elementary for 18 months. He loved going to her class and learning not only Spanish, but also about the world around him. It was clear to my husband and I how much she loves each of her students and sees the as the individuals they are.

I've taken about two months of introductory Spanish from Abigail, and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to learn Spanish, both because it is clear that she knows Spanish language and culture from personal experience and also because it is clear that she knows how to teach language. She uses a wide range of teaching resources, including group games, jokes, Spanish songs, and out-of-class worksheets. In addition to immersing students in Spanish, she has taught formal grammar rules which explain the mechanics of Spanish. All of these teaching methods complement each other well. She does a good job of connecting with the people she is teaching, and is very accommodating to people with concerns or needs. During college, there were some classes in which I wished I could go on learning indefinitely; that will definitely be the case for me while taking the Spanish class Abigail is teaching right now.

My friends and I were looking for someone to teach us to speak better Spanish. We all had Spanish in back high school, but are very rusty now. Specifically we wanted to be able to speak better with some of the workers at the stable where we keep our horses. Kim is a perfect teacher for us. Not only does she know Spanish well, but because she also used to ride in Argentina, so she also knows all the horse lingo. She even went out to stable to meet us and the guys before our first lesson to make sure they use the same words she knows for the various horsey things. And she's been willing to meet us and teach us in the evenings since we all work.

I truly enjoy seeing someone learn and master a new language because of my extensive experience and expertise, a thorough knowledge of what language is about, and the specific skills to learn it. My method of teaching is more effective -- being able to accomplish our goals quickly. My credentials include a master's degree in Spanish with emphasis on linguistics, translation, and interpretation and a bachelor's degree in English. There will be an audio recording of each lesson and homework that can be emailed for correction and intensive oral practice during classes. For weekly lessons, we can also include practice over the phone by face-to-face meetings, at no extra cost. Skills are involved in learning it.
