Having founded Gateway Destinations, LLC in 2007, I specialize in designing luxury and experiential travel to international destinations as well as Alaska and Hawaii with a special focus on Europe. As a Certified Travel Associate and selected as a France Specialist by Signature Travel Network, I continually seek ways to deepen my product knowledge, further strengthen my relationships with suppliers and personally visit destinations, searching for off-the-beaten path and authentic experiences to discover and share in a memorable way. Additionally, I have been selected by TripAdvisor Reco as a specialist for five destinations - France, Italy, Kenya, South Africa and Uganda.

We were vacationing in New Zealand when their Prime Minister canceled all non essential domestic travel due to COVID and all international flights including ours to the States were closing down fast. The State Dept was asking Americans to return so you can imagine how many were scrambling for flights. When you are in a dire situation like that you quickly learn why you always want Jan as your travel agent! Others in our group had booked their own flights and could not get through to the airlines. You can imagine their stress levels! We relied on Jan totally and she came through by getting the 3 flights we needed AND on the date we needed. This was the first time I had used Jan’s services and I will be using her for my travels in the future!
