Introduction: Although wedding officiating is fairly straight forward, I like to differentiate myself in two ways. The first and most important way, is to personalize the wedding ceremony liturgy to fit the couple. I like to meet with the couple and discuss what components they desire in their wedding, then create unique, one of a kind renditions of those pieces that are both poetically powerful and also accurate displays of the two folks getting married. The second way I stand out is by bringing a different presence to the ceremony. I love unique things and that is what I can offer. I where cool flat brimmed hats and wool ties, which matched with my long hair, creates a hipster, grungy, all around unique vibe that is rare in the world of traditional, black suit short haired, older wedding officiants. So my value proposition in a sentence is: I write a beautiful, personalized ceremony which reflects the couple, while bringing a new, more modern look to the wedding officiant world. Blessings
I love a lot of things in this world, two of them are trying new things and weddings. I do a great deal of freelance photography, weddings taking up a large part of that, and since I started shooting them I began to fall in love with the whole ordeal. So I started officiating some of my friends weddings, and I want to continue to do so. I love officiating weddings for a few reasons, first, because it's such a cool, and important time to be involved in a person's life; second, the joy at weddings is unlike any other; and third, I love dressing as a hipster, hated, ordained officiator who gets to write individual and personalized wedding ceremonies in a powerful and poetic way. I love people, and I love when people love people.
