- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly educating myself. I and part of the Window Cleaning Resource Association. This is an unbelievable tool for window cleaning professionals. We pride ourselves on our knowledge that we pass on to our clients. Our clients really seem to appreciate the fact that we take pride in what we do.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was studying business at Northern Illinois University and I took a window cleaning job to pay for my education. I became good friends with the owner who was also a teacher. He decided to sell the window cleaning business and I thought it was a great opportunity for me. I knew many of the clients from working there and they liked me. I knew it would be a great fit. I like the flexibility of the job, I like meeting new people and I like going to new places every week
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common type of job we do is a detailed window cleaning inside and out, which includes cleaning the frames, the screens and the exposed tracks.
