How does your business stand out?

My attention to detail and really focusing on what the client wants out of personal training vs. what I think they need. Many trainers lose focus of what clients goals are and what they originally came to them for. I continually remain focused on what the client is trying to accomplish with personal training. I'm also big on habit creation. Most of us realize that to lose weight we need to "move more eat less"....implementing this simplicity is the real challenge and we will delve into the psychology of habit change during our sessions and how to overcome bad habits.

What do you enjoy about the work you do?

Working with people all day and witnessing them transform not only physically but often many other aspects of their lives for the better. This is the incredibly gratifying part of my job and it is so fun to be a part of.

    Lifestyle Change!
    I always hear that loosing weight, gaining muscle, and healthy eating habits are not a diet but a lifestyle change. I knew my "lifestyle change" had to begin with the consistency of working out. I trained with Anthony for about 5 months and now I actually crave to work out and get excited. He keeps the workouts challenging and knows how to customize exercises based on individual goals. Additionally, he makes sure to be attentive and receptive during each fitness sessions and answers my questions round the clock. From past experience, there are few personal trainers you can feel so secure and comfortable with-Anthony has been such an encouraging and supportive trainer for me.     I haven't had a solid workout regime in 2-3 years and wanted a personal trainer who could help me lose weight , build muscle and build my stamina. I have to say, Anthony is the best trainer I have ever had, he was thorough from day 1, measured body fat and created fitness goals to adhere to. He knows that working out is not only about physical strength but mental strength too, so he makes sure that he motivates me constantly at the gym, ensuring that I improve with each training session. He also provided me with nutritional information, reminding me that 80% of my work would be in the kitchen.     Anthony makes working out easier to get back into. He is diligent when it comes to training with injuries and makes sure there is no strain or discomfort between sets. He provides great nutrition advise and keeps you on track. It's nice to find a trainer who cares about their client and their health. Highly recommend Anthony, he is an amazing trainer!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 2 personal trainer certifications, ACE and NCSF. I read daily on fitness and nutrition. I stay up to date on the newest trends in the industry and do my best to continually evolve my programs to stay in line with what is working best for my clients.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up around the gym and fitness as my parents owned a gym and health food store. After some years out in the corporate world as an Investment Analyst I decided to venture out on my own doing something I have real passion for and I've never looked back.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Primarily clients looking to drop body fat and gain lean muscle. I also work with seniors on balance, flexibility, and strength training.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I have recently been working with the model client for about 4 months now. He has done everything I have asked and coached him to do to the T. And his results have been incredible. He is down close to 30lbs and even more impressive is he is down 12.5% body fat. It has been amazing to watch a transformation happen this quickly.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I will provide fitness, nutrition, and habit coaching. People know what they need to do - move more and eat less. Getting yourself to do this is the hard part. Accountability is a great way to accomplish this and a personal trainer provides this.
