- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Not really. Painting is usually $1.00 a sqft for labor. More if A lot of repairs are involved or 3 or more coats. Other small projects based on time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I read books as well as many on line resources. I work with others as well on jobs and learn a lot that way. My wife gets mad because if I want to learn how to do something I will experiment on our house..
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had done a lot of this work on the farm and for friends and family as well as remodeling my own homes. I realized I really enjoyed it. It may sound strange but painting puts me in a good frame of mind. Cooking does the same.
