Introduction: We work as team so we have backup for each other - if someone on the team gets sick, car breaks down, has a personal emergency or just needs their own vacation, we never let a client or a pet down. When you are out of town, the last thing you want to hear is that your pet sitter has flaked out and your pets have no one to care for them. I can not count the number of times I have received those calls of panic and have had to step in and help. Being with the pets first and foremost. Dogs and cats never mind if you are having a bad hair day or just a bad day in general. They are always happy to see you and open to receiving and giving lots of love and treats. The unconditional love they give is priceless and can brighten any rainy day. Also, developing a relationship with the clients is very rewarding. Allowing us to have access to their homes and fur babies when they are not there requires a lot of trust. When they return home happy that their pets and home are in wonderful condition, a long term relationship begins.

When I lived in Phoenix, I without fail used TLC to care for my cats while I was on vacation. In one instance, when I was seriously ill and in the hospital, Margie and staff came to my apartment and cared for my cats for 9 days on the spur of the moment. The staff is clean, experienced, courteous and Margie only hires caring animal lovers as staff. I would not hesitate to recommend TLC While You're Away to anyone in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area.

Traveling used to be traumatic for our pets, before we found Margie. Now they ask us to stay away longer, because she takes such good care of them! Utterly reliable, and she's saved us on a couple of last second emergency trips... she's one of the first calls I make when I have to make travel plans!

Very happy with TLC, we get a note describing exactly what happened on the walk. Our dogs also love the team, as a family with high fear rescue dogs that was always a worry we had. I recommend them to everyone!

I think people don't always take the pet sitting profession seriously, and think that their 16 year old neighbor could do the job just as well as we can. We are dedicated professionals, who love pets and take our job seriously as well as being a member of the Better Business Bureau, Angie's List (Silver Service award), Pet Sitters International, and insured and bonded. We never let a pet down and would never not show up due to a personal crisis/emergency, overbooking or just plain forgetting.
