Nick J. says, "We had the pleasure of hiring Chef Adam for our wedding weekend. The brunches and dinners he prepared were creative and delicious. He stocked the rental house with food prior to our arrival and even provided beautiful decor for our celebration. Not only was the food exceptional, but Chef Adam brought such professionalism, warmth and attention to detail in every meal. He even took the time to share cooking tips with anyone who asked. When the oven and stove unexpectedly lost power he and his team quickly resorted to using the grill to prepare the food and managed to keep everything on schedule. If you’re looking for a personal chef who can deliver both incredible food and a wonderful atmosphere, I highly recommend Chef Adam. His talent, amazing team, and passion for cooking made our wedding weekend even more memorable and special."See more

Seti A. says, "We hired Common Hospitality for a private chef brunch experience for my cousin’s bachelorette party, and it was absolute perfection. From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations. The food? Incredible. Every dish was so thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor—I genuinely wish I could eat like that every day. From the first bite to the last, you could taste the passion and quality in everything the chef served. It was like dining at a five-star restaurant, but in the comfort of our own space. What made the experience even more special was how kind, professional, and thoughtful the chef was. They not only guided us through the menu but also gave fantastic local recommendations, which really helped us make the most of our weekend. You could tell they genuinely cared about making our experience memorable. And the clean-up? Immaculate. The space was spotless—cleaner than when they arrived. They handled everything so seamlessly, it felt like we just floated from mimosas to memories without lifting a finger. My only regret? That Common Hospitality isn’t based near me. I would hire them for every event I host—birthday dinners, celebrations, cozy date nights—you name it. If you’re considering booking them, do it. It’ll be one of the best decisions you make."See more

Samantha B. says, "Thank you again soooo much for coming through with only one day notice!! Ong story short: I had booked a different Chef through this app . When I arrived in Scottsdale (after a 7 hour drive in a cramped car with 6 people) mmh iat the exact moment she called I was carrying my luggage into the Air BNB . She cancelled and said she was unable to make it so I was left scrambling to find another chef for our dinner plans tomorrow. Thank God I found Josh . He was available and he was able to cook our menu. He showed up promptly with everything he needed (pot, pans etc) as well as everything we needed (tablecloths, plates, silverware etc). Food was sooooo yummy and plated beautifully. I can’t thank you enough! Highly Recommend)!"See more

How much do private cooking lessons cost?

You can take private cooking classes to have fun, to learn a new skill, to improve your health, to bond with your partner, to enjoy a playful first date or to have a unique birthday party experience. Nationally the average cost of private cooking lessons ranges between $100 and $150. Prices can vary, depending on where you live, the type of cooking class you’re taking, the ingredients the chef provides, and the reputation of the chef. Cooking classes with Anthony Bourdain will clearly cost more than classes with a local restaurant owner. The number of people in the class will also affect the cost, with group lessons often priced per person to account for the cost of ingredients. For example, for group lessons, a brunch workshop may cost an average of $70 per person, a steak dinner with sides could cost an average of $80-$85 per person, and a sushi lesson could cost an average of $100 per person. Ingredients play a major role in cost, as the chef will pre-purchase the food you will be working with. Weekday classes will usually cost less than weekend classes.
