I have over 20 years of swimming experience and 10 years of teaching- I swam under the coaching of Michael Phelps and his coach Bob Bowman at ASU for years so I can teach anything from the basics to prepping elite competitors! Having little success with group lessons, my son wanted to learn and improve faster. Alysha provided focused private instruction, making progress faster than we thought was possible. The 1v1 coaching and tailoring the lessons to his specific weaknesses helped him swim faster, quickly, while remaining positive, encouraged, and engaged throughout the process.

What stands out to me about Alysha is how competent, committed and effective she is in teaching swimming skills. And what a great encourager! She learned swinming at an early age because of this same type of training and went on to break many records and swam under scholarship for Bob Bowman/ ASU. I have watched the joy she gets from seeing swimmers get better, real-time! She would even swim along and under water to observe strokes and kicks, then demonsrate exactly how to improve in a fun way. I couldn't recommend any instructor more highly. Definitely worth it!

Alysha is awesome. She is very knowlegable, very patient and good at giving instructions. She is very good at correcting my mistakes, encouraging when I am frustrated. I have improved in this sport due her encouragement and instruction. I definitely recommend her.
