FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard pricing is $50 per hour or $35 per half-hour. Lessons are paid in advance and are scheduled weekly.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We always begin with a free consultation. During this we spend some time getting acquainted, discussing the singer's goals and aspirations so I can get an idea of the structure we will create for each lesson and the long-range plan to help the student achieve those goals. I also spend a few moments with vocalizations to determine the student's current aptitude and vocal health.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a professional musician for over 4 decades, singing in every type of imaginable setting and in all genres of vocal music. I'm also a composer with a lifetime membership in ASCAP, having music published and performed by soloists, choirs, and instrumental ensembles all around the US. I hold a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Choral conducting as well as a Masters in Vocal Performance and a Bachelor in Music Education.
