Introduction: Established in 2008, Desert Dogs has grown from a small, in-home training service to a storefront facility with three professional trainers and kennel staff. Though the company has grown, our main focus has always been on our customers and utilizing the most effective and innovative training techniques. While we continue to expand, we retain our commitment to the community by providing rehabilitation and a foster home for local rescues and their most behaviorally challenged dogs. We participate in many community events and provide a resource for owners to connect with other dog lovers and organizations. We believe that a true canine professional's education is never finished, and furthering our knowledge is imperative. We pride ourselves on becoming proficient in the most effective and progressive techniques of training available. Desert Dogs is licensed and insured for both you and your dog's safety and protection. Even though it is called dog training, it should be called people training for dogs. The most important part of training is how you handle and respond to your dog's behaviors. Dogs and humans don't naturally speak the same language. Training provides an opportunity to open a line of communication that will allow your relationship to become mutually beneficial. By making the training a "way of life", your dog will no longer question when to display appropriate behaviors.
