- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I start my pricing at industry standard, then calculate for difficulty of job and amount of time. In a lot of cases, I'm open to price matching, so don't hesitate to ask!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'll schedule a time that works best for you to come take a look at your project. In most cases I will have my estimate to you by the next morning. If you decide to work with me, I'll email you the project schedule for you to review by the following day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I stay up to date on new techniques and materials when I have the chance by reviewing national construction publications and literature. I also have family and friends in the industry, and they are a great resource to keep me in the know.
