About
Why Choose Veteran Tech Services: My approach to tech support is built on three core principles: trust, precision, and genuine problem-solving. As a former logistics officer in the U.S. Army and Program Manager at Northeastern, I understand that inviting someone into your home requires trust. I bring the same discipline and attention to detail I apply managing multimillion-dollar operations to every PC build and tech issue I tackle. When I commit to a project, you can count on clear communication, punctual arrival, and work done right the first time. What sets my service apart: I've built multiple custom PCs and currently run a Linux server on Raspberry Pi at home. My hands-on experience spans Windows, Mac, and Linux environments (Mint and Arch). I have also worked with Power-BI, DAX, Power-Automate, & Excel building dashboards to coordinate operations across multiple locations. This combination means I don't just fix immediate problems—I understand how different systems connect and how your tech needs align with your bigger goals, whether that's a gaming setup for your teenager, a home office that actually works, or a small business needing reliable systems. My commitment to you: Every client deserves more than a quick fix. I take time to understand what you're trying to accomplish, explain technical decisions in plain language, and ensure you're confident using your equipment after I leave. Building lasting relationships matters more to me than one-time transactions. I'm Boston-based, veteran-owned, and available for same-day service. Let's solve your tech challenges together.

Warren did an outstanding job building my Gaming PC. He was extremely timely in getting everything completed without cutting corners, and his communication throughout the entire process was excellent. No matter how many questions I had, he took the time to answer each one clearly and thoroughly. I especially appreciated his patience as I was new to the process. He made the whole experience stress-free and easy to understand. I couldn’t be happier with the final result and would highly recommend Warren to anyone looking for reliable, knowledgeable, and professional tech services.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My rates reflect fair compensation for quality work: $50/hr for troubleshooting, $75/hr for builds and major upgrades. Same-day service includes a $20 travel fee. Clear upfront estimates, detailed explanations, follow-up support, and parts sourcing at cost (no markup). If the job takes less time than estimated, you pay for actual time worked. Open to discussing adjusted rates for students, veterans, and seniors facing constraints. I present both immediate fixes and longer-term solutions so you can make informed decisions. No hidden fees, no pressure tactics—just honest service.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Our work together starts with listening to your specific situation—not just the tech problem, but what you're trying to accomplish. Every challenge exists within a broader context. We discuss your needs, goals, and constraints. I explain what's happening and present choices with honest trade-offs. I communicate what I'm doing and why; we discuss complications together so you leave feeling confident and capable, not dependent. Follow-up questions welcome; many clients become recurring connections Quality service means understanding people, not just fixing machines. Technical decisions are choices with reasons—I help you make informed ones that align with your situation.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

My capabilities developed through interconnected experience—formal education, military training, and persistent problem-solving. Technical skills: Six custom PC builds. Linux server administration (Raspberry Pi, Mint, Arch). Capabilities built solving real problems, not just completing coursework. What distinguishes my work: Technical hands-on skills combined with strategic project management and military accountability. I approach tech challenges as both technical problems and human situations requiring thoughtful solutions. Ongoing learning through technical communities and solving diverse real-world problems for clients with different needs.
