We hired Ryze Outdoor Creations for an artificial turf installation at our home and our experience was extremely disappointing.I. Conversation With Operations Manager Was THE WorstThe most concerning part was speaking to Brian, the Operations Manager in regard to the aftermath. When raised legitimate concerns of our overall experience, instead of replying professionally, several comments were made that felt patronizing, dismissive, and extremely inappropriate.Direct quotes from my conversation with Brian: Regarding the zero English language barrier with the labor workers:You should expect when you purchase these services the type of workers that come out to do the job. After discussing the overall situation:Think of it like this, my family and I love going to the amusement park and riding roller coasters. They are so much fun when you ride them. And sometimes you hear a story about how some people die on a roller coaster and thats just the risk some people take. In this situation, that just so happened to be you. When discussing the 3rd party Labor Supervisor, Carlos, who oversees the crews work but was never onsite:We take on about 16 jobs per week and Carlos is only one person. You understand, that one person cant be in two places at once, right?.Regarding the time spent outside assisting the workers:I wish I could give you boots and a 1099 for your services, followed by laughter.Regarding compensation on a ~$7,000 project:I can give you back your deposit of $150 but thats it. Im not the lottery so its not like I can give you a winning lottery ticket.(UNTRUE, their only resolution and we never even received that deposit back)II. Design Was Not FinalizedThe design we were given was just a simple green overlay on top of our existing yard layout with a few notes. Lacking detail and clarity on the overall scope.III. Installation Crew Had No Clear Plan or Way to CommunicateWhen the installation crew arrived, while great at their job, they spoke no English and had unclear understanding of the design plan and job scope. My husband and I ultimately spent both days directing the work, using mobile translation, while repeatedly contacting the project manager to relay job plans that had not been communicated to the crew. As the homeowner paying thousands for a service, we should not have had to oversee the installation ourselves.IV. Job Site Left With Trash and DebrisAfter the project was completed, construction debris and trash were left on the sidewalk in front of our home, which we ultimately had to deal with ourselves.Overall, the lack of communication, planning, and unprofessionalism made this a very disappointing experience. I would strongly encourage anyone considering Ryze Outdoor Creations to ask very clear questions about supervision, finalized design plans, and communication before hiring them. This is no testament to the workers themselves who came out and did the actual labor. They were hard-working, kind, and adaptive. Jose lead the crew in the work and, even if my mom had to be on-call helping us translate, we cant thank them enough for their efforts and being our only positive experience.

After this review was published a representative from the company contacted us and refunded our full deposit with his apologies. He seemed genuinely sorry.Met them at the home show and thought they were knowledgable, and personable. They came to our home and gave us an estimate on a Pergola and we agreed to the price. We had done some research on the company and had concerns based on some of the reviews. But, after meeting with their representative we had such a good feeling about them. We gave them a $ 500. deposit with installments contingent on our receiving a permit from the town and then our HOA. Our town permit was DECLINED as Ryze DOES NOT hold a license to build Pergola's at the current time!!!! Therefore, the contract became null and void. The office manager cancelled our install on March 3rd. However, they have not returned our phone calls and have FAILED to refund our deposit. Please, do not do business with this company. We have been extremely patient with them to no avail. It has been a hard lesson to learn. My Best with your project,Kathleen Girouard

If outdoor spaces had a crown jewel, my new pergola from Ryze Outdoor Creations would be it.From the start, their sales team was incredible. Super knowledgeable, easy to work with, and actually listened to what I wanted. They made the whole process smooth and stress-free, no pressure, just great guidance and communication the entire way.Now the finished pergola? Absolutely beautiful. It completely transformed my backyard into a space I actually want to spend time in. The craftsmanship is top-tier, every detail is clean and solid, and it looks even better than I imagined.Im beyond happy with the final result. If youre thinking about adding a pergola or upgrading your outdoor space, this is the team you want making it happen.
