FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is fully transparent. What you see is what you pay, and planning fees are always agreed upfront before any work begins. Simple bookings like a single hotel, rental car, or train reservation are complimentary. Cruise bookings for up to 4 guests are also complimentary. Multi-destination itineraries start at $125 for up to 3 hours of planning. Complex trips — safaris, around-the-world, expeditions — start at $300 and are scoped individually. Group travel with room blocks or cruise cabins is 1% of the total pre-tax booking value. Planning fees are charged separately from your travel costs and are non-refundable, including in the event of cancellation, as they compensate for work already performed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a conversation. I want to understand where you're going, how you like to travel, your budget, and what matters most to you. From there I'll outline the scope, confirm the planning fee if one applies, and once that's settled I get to work. I handle all the research, bookings, and coordination and come back to you with options or a full itinerary depending on what we agreed. I stay accessible throughout the planning process and during the trip for any questions or issues that come up.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 25 years of hands-on experience in the travel and hospitality industry. I started as a travel agent at STA Travel, then worked my way through 12 hotels across sales and operations, and spent years in tech on both the enterprise and hospitality side. I'm an independent advisor affiliated with Fora Travel, one of the leading host agencies in the industry, which keeps me connected to current supplier relationships, preferred rates, and ongoing professional development. I'm also a licensed Seller of Travel in Washington State (UBI 605329242). I also hold a Master of Tourism Administration from The George Washington University School of Business.
