FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Private chef retainers start at $500/week and scale with household size. Household management support is billed hourly at $45–55/hour with a 4-hour minimum per visit. Groceries are billed separately at cost, or clients can manage them directly through their own accounts — we don't advance grocery costs. Every quote is built around your specific needs during a free consultation, so there are no surprise fees once service begins. Catering starts at $18 per person.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a free consultation to understand your household's dietary needs, preferences, and goals — including any coordination needed with a physician or dietitian. From there, we build a custom weekly menu proposal and finalize a service agreement. Once onboarded, you'll review and approve each week's menu before service begins, and we adjust based on your feedback as we go, so the plan keeps improving the longer we work together. For catering we start with a consultationm we go over budget, cuisine, service type, and collect a deposit for bookings.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Le Cordon Bleu-trained, holding an Associate of Occupational Science in Culinary Arts, along with Certified Culinarian (CC) and ServSafe Food Handler certifications. Currently completing a degree in Long-Term Health Care Management to deepen expertise in health-focused meal planning. This is paired with over a decade of hands-on experience in private household and estate settings.
