Introduction: Sea Wolff Dog School promotes respect and understanding of the dog through the education of dog owners. We provide low-cost group classes with emphasis on responsible dog ownership, leadership, and good dog manners. Private lessons and training packages are available. The packages are customized based on your needs and personalized by your preferences. Canine Good Citizen classes and tests are also offered. Most dogs will be able to pass the CGC test after one of Sea Wolff Dog School's basic classes! Basic dog training will bring your pet closer to the perfect dog you had in mind when you brought your puppy home. It will teach you to communicate with your dog in a way that creates the bond between you and your dog that both of you crave. Owning an obedient dog will make you a more responsible pet owner, and your dog a welcome member of your neighborhood. Training opens the door to all kinds of competitive venues -- i.e., agility, obedience, or rally. Maybe your dog could be a therapy dog to help children read and brighten the days of patients in nursing homes and hospitals. These types of activities are open to all breeds of dogs and mixed breeds. My name is Claudia Wolff. I am a member in good standing with the American Kennel Club and the German Wirehaired Pointer Club of Southern California. Being an AKC certified evaluator for the Canine Good Citizen and the Puppy S.T.A.R. program, I am committed to providing the most effective and convenient solutions for my clients' dog training needs. I avidly pursue ongoing continuing education and professional development by attending seminars and keeping current with industry literature. Sea Wolff Dog School puts clients first and is well respected and referred by local veterinarians and the town of Apple Valley and the city of Hesperia. The purpose of a training class is to teach the student the skill of communicating with another specie, a dog. Just like learning a foreign language, it is done systematically. The traditional obedience exercises are used as means to this end. They can be viewed as the rules of grammar, which then enable us to use words we have learned correctly. Once he has learned to communicate with his dog and now understands his dog's language, the student can resolve most any problems on his own. We teach dog obedience the right way.
