We hired MHB for a wedding reception for the kids. Once the festivities started, the kids were in line getting balloons twisted into all shapes and sizes. Here's the kicker - the grown ups started getting in line too. Lots of compliments for hiring her because it's all about creating a good time for guests. Worth it.

Megan was so on top of it the whole time through the whole process. I had a giant wedding with lots of decor, signs, and flowers and she handled it all with ease and I never even heard about any mishaps or issues. She just handled them all. She was the best florist/wedding coordinator I could've asked for!

Eulina Morris of Creating a Remarkable Event was my full-time wedding planner in 2010. I ordered the "Happily Ever After" package. Ms. Morris worked with me from March 2010 until October 2010. She is a genius and was a God-send. I still thank her to this day. If it was not for CARE and the wonderful, efficient, superb services provided by Morris and her staff, my wedding would have been a sure disastor. Ms. Morris is very affordable, and worked with my budget. I was on a monthly payment plan, and she always was efficient in sending me invoices, and keeping me abreast of the vendor fees, and all the other expenses she was responsible in facilitating. Her cost-cutting effectiveness helped me NOT be in debt once I said, "I Do" and both sides of our family still talk about how fabulous the wedding is today. I was indeed a special case. I live in New Jersey, but got married in my hometown Los Angeles. So I was planning by proxy. I needed someone who I could totally, totally rely on, was easy to communicate with, was patient with my A-type personality, and had great ideas. When I inquired about her services, Ms. Morris immediately responded, and was not at all offended by my 328 questions. And I am happy that I did. The FIRST largest blessing was that Ms. Morris hunted, and I mean hunted for a wedding and reception venue for months. She trekked from Palos Verdes to Malibu, to Pasadena to the Marina Del Rey. Next, Ms. Morris hooked me up with a great rate at the Marriot at the Staples Center. The rooms were breathtaking. And the staff there accommodated my huge family. Ms. Morris helped me establish a fantastic food vendor, decor, color palette, transportation, photographer and flower arrangements. She literally walked with me every step of the way, but did not push me in any way when I selected other options. However, there is once decision that I fumbled; nonetheless, Eulina was there to save my wedding day. I picked a "friend" to deejay at the reception. She suggested someone else. I went with the friend who never showed. Yet, luckily Eulina had such a great rapport with the deejay she suggested and the deejay ended up providing music an hour or so before the reception. Ms. Morris and her crew decorated our reception hall with elegance and style. They were so on point that they made my day, unforgettable and special. Overall, the best aspect of Ms. Morris is her genuine concern and attention to the bride's well-being. She has been in our shoes, and helped me along the way. Eulina has become a dear sister-friend and I will use her whenever I can.

I knew from the moment that I met Lauren from In Focus Events, she was going to make my wedding day seamless. My husband and I got married at Strawberry Farms Golf Club in March 2016. My mom and I had done most of the wedding preparations ourselves, so we just needed someone to help us execute all of our plans so that we could enjoy the day. After deciding to forego our venue's coordination services (which were over-priced considering the cost of the venue) and receiving tons of quotes from day-of coordinators that were way over our budget....I decided to turn to the Thumbtack app. By the GRACE OF GOD, I found Lauren on the app just a few months before our wedding! I had planned to meet with Lauren and a few other coordinators before making my decision. Luckily, I saved myself some time by meeting with Lauren first. I cancelled my other consultations and immediately signed a contract with In Focus Events. Even though we paid Lauren for Day-Of Coordination services, she went above and beyond to make herself available for me anytime I needed her. Not only did she meet with me several times leading up to our wedding, I was texting her at least weekly with different questions, concerns, advice, etc. She even calmed our panic attack when my mom and I realized late one night that my wedding dress didn't fit! She was AMAZING and truly cares about her brides. Fast forward to the week of the wedding, Lauren was on top of EVERYTHING. She reminded me of small details that I had missed (ash trays for our cigar bar) and helped me get my last minute to-do list done. She iinsisted on coming by to pick up ALL of our wedding decorations and macaron favors the day before the wedding so that she could set them up as soon as she arrived at the venue the next day, which was SO helpful to me since I turned in my apartment keys the day before our wedding. She even took all of the decor out of her car and reloaded on the wedding day to ensure it was safe overnight! I should also mention that after picking up all of our decor and taking it across town, she drove all the way back to coordinate our rehearsal later that afternoon! On our wedding day, Lauren was organized, fun, and beyond helpful. The day ran so smoothly, and even the minor hiccups (the florist forgot to give me a toss bouquet) were solved quickly by Lauren and her team. I am so grateful to In Focus Events for making my wedding day relaxing for myself and my family. As detailed people and Type-A personalities, its often difficult for my mom and I to hand over control to other people when it comes to special events, but we are SO grateful that we had Lauren to take care of the special day. I only wish that I could have Lauren organize more things in my life! I can't wait to work with her again and again. She was truly a blessing!

Vanessa and her husband were an absolute pleasure to work with the day of my wedding. Vanessa was really responsive and answered all of my questions during the entire process. She was especially helpful during the days leading up to the wedding, making sure we were covering all of my bases. I was able to kick back and focus on being a bride on the actual day trusting that Vanessa and her hubby had it all handled. Friends and family kept telling me to go with the flow and not to worry because things always go wrong at weddings no matter how hard you plan or organize, but this was not the case at all. I was blessed to have everything run so seamlessly and I have this wonderful team to thank for making it happen! They are so cute together, by the way, and their teamwork is apparent. Would highly recommend them in a heartbeat!

Ritz Catering did an outstanding job catering my daughters wedding. We had over 350 guest. There were no worries working with Jarrett and the team at Ritz. We received numerous compliments from our guests. From the cocktail hour to dinner and even the candy bar, it was a hit!! Last year I hired Steven to assist me with planning my wedding at the Edward Dean Museum. I had initially thought that I could plan my wedding without any outside help, but with starting a new job and moving to a new city, I had so much on my plate that I finally contacted Steven, and it was easily the best money I have spent on the wedding. Steven was in constant contact throughout the planning, and took over communication with my vendors, which was a huge weight off my shoulders. He laid out exactly what he needed from me so that I could easily provide necessary information. He even saved the day by borrowing a large cupcake stand from a friend of his for my wedding cupcakes :) Steven is very friendly, and always professional. The only regret I have about him is that I did not hire him sooner, because I feel like I would have stressed less! I would highly recommend him to anyone planning any type of party, because you know that it will be well put together.

Esther helped us for our wedding in July 25th and she did a wonderful work. She made me the bride boutique even without the request. The flowers and the decoration are extremely pretty and I loved it so much. She really did a lot of wonderful works and helped us had a beautiful wedding. Sarah at the Blushing Bride was absolutely fabulous to work with as my wedding planner. From our initial meeting, I was thoroughly impressed with not only her level of organization and professionalism, but how extremely sweet and genuinely happy and excited she was for our wedding. She was always available for any and everything throughout the planning process and executed the day of the wedding seamlessly. She surprised me with a really sweet card, gift and arrangement of white roses in my bridal suite on the day of the wedding which was such a nice gesture. Sarah is the perfect balance of being extremely sharp, organized and professional and extremely thoughtful, sweet and genuine, which is a huge relief for any bride throughout the wedding planning process. Knowing Sarah was on my team gave me the peace of mind to relax and really enjoy my wedding without worrying about a thing! I felt confident that everything was handled and it definitely was. Creations by CB Events did a phenomenal job on our wedding! I am someone that doesn't enjoy the planning process one bit and Connie took it right out of my hands into hers. She took the stress level down completely and although we are a pretty simple and laid back couple she took all of our wishes and wants and exceeded our expectations. We used CB Events for all; decorations, party planning and event coordinating (basically everything! haha). Our event was at an outside venue (The Red Gates of covina; a private venue exclusive to Creations by CB Events) and everyone loved it. With the intimate atmosphere along with the inviting array of eclectic style our wedding was definitely a night everyone will remember (which is what the whole point is right?). Needless to say i would recommend "Creations by CB Events" to ANYONE! Every penny was worth it. Thank you Connie!! -Nicole & Eddie

Ingrid and Stacy have surpassed all expectations I had for wedding planning services. Initially I was very stressed to even be planning a wedding, however with their help they've put me at ease by going over many items I wouldn't have even thought of. They are always available when I have questions and go above and beyond by verifying contracts with all my vendors. The nice thing is they are also willing to work on custom peices like signs, center peices and even arrangement of flowers. Most other wedding planners dont have the time commitment and money saving ability to tackle do it yourself projects. This has allowed me to have things I would have never been able to afford like a paper flower wall for photos and candy station. When I priced these things through a 3rd party they were completely out of reach. Ingrid and Stacy are a great team and I recommend them to anyone planning any event big or small.

Laura was great to work with! At first I wasn't sure that I was going to add a day-of wedding coordinator to my budget but after my first phone call with Laura, I knew it was essential. She's an expert about event set-up, timelines and catering so I immediately felt at ease and knew that if I hired her I could relax and enjoy my wedding day instead of worrying about the details. Laura and her assistant Jody were essential at our wedding - they gracefully handled everything behind the scenes and made sure it was a perfect day for my husband and I and our guests. My friends and family commented on how great Laura was at pushing everything along throughout the day, and troubleshooting when necessary. Laura's day-of coordination service might just be the most important service that I purchase for my wedding day!

PhatX (Brian Cochran) I find his work to be very professional, dependable and knowledgeable. I've used him several times before, one event on, May 06, 2013 for Bishop Rhone's Inaugural Banquet and wedding receptions. He has all the right equipment and stays updated on songs/artists. Matt DJed and MCed both our wedding ceremony and reception and did an absolutely phenomenal job. He kept the party going with great music choices and even better timing as an MC for the reception.
