FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
This is one of the good things of being part of an international network like Tutor Doctor. The Home Office is always looking at the future of the business and trying out ideas on how to provide improved service to our customers. Several new features and ideas that were presented at the annual meeting will be rolled out and added to our stable of important products through the coming year.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
While we can provide tutoring to anyone from toddlers to senior citizens, most of the students are elementary and high school students who need with their academics. It seems that most students are looking for a high school math tutor, even though we do have many clients who are looking for elementary school level help with reading and writing, and even math.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
At Tutor Doctor, we always come to the student to provide the best in tutoring. Besides providing an excellent tutor that comes to you, we have the entire Tutor Doctor organization to back up the tutor. I am there to provide a backstop to the tutor, and to provide a quality control on the tutor's work. I review and approve each session report written by the tutor. And then we email that report to the family so that they can also have a record of the student's progress.
